Following queries we can inform you about the following:

To Hanko:

Most flights get in to Oslo Airport Gardemoen (OSL), which is situated about 2 hours drive (or a bit less) away from Hanko.

However, a few flights get into Oslo Airport Torp, TRF. For instance, Ryanair.com flies in there non stop every Monday from Bergamo, an airport situated about 50 kms east of Milan, with dep 0955 and arr 1220. The price on display right now is EUR 19! There are also direct Ryanair flights to TRF from Hahn airport near Frankfurt.

From Torp to Hanko, we suggest chartering a helicopter (10 minutes lift costing NOK 3.900). Driving would take at least two hours due to ferry. Booking: jvdl@hesnes.no.

From Hanko to Skagen:

We have looked into to a hydroplane solution, but this is not available due to swell outside Skagen.

The normal route Hanko - Skagen is car to Gothenburg (250 km), car ferry to Fredrikshavn and then car to Skagen (50 km).

Weather permitting, your Protector can take you from Hanko to Skagen in 3-4 hours. Or a bit longer if you drive inside islands along the Swedish west coast down to Smogen (worth visiting) before you cross to Skagen.

Our recommendation: Take the opportunity to see Oslo, including its maritime museums! Drive from Hanko to Oslo Sunday night (90 km). Or have your Protector taking you from Hanko to the front of the City Hall in Oslo inner harbour, this will take 80-90 minutes. Stay at Hotel Continental. Take the cruise ferry “Color Festival” from Oslo to Fredrikshavn on Monday or Tuesday evening, cruise out the Oslo Fiord and arrive the next morning. You can bring vehicles. Cabins are available. From Hanko to Oslo Airport (OSL) Sunday night.

The normal driving time is 2 hours, however there could be traffic extending that about half an hour. Impatient owners can consider chartering the helicopter (see contact details above) at a price of NOK 16.800.
