1st of April 2006 Farr 40: Mascalzone is recovering the handicap English VersionItalian Version

Onorato’s boat is winning race six, Nerone still in lead

Equilibrium and confusion to Saint Tropez after the second day of regattas on Farr 40 European Circuit. Recovering after a  previous day not so brilliant, Mascalzone Latino  won the last regatta scheduled for today. For Vincenzo Onorato and his tactician Russell Coutts this was definitely not a brilliant start. Instead TWT, tactician Tiziano Nava put in an excellent performance to finish second in two races, just a place behind Mezzaroma's and Antonio Sodo's boat that took the gun of the second race.
Racing continues through Sunday. Three races are planned for tomorrow, the third day of racing and the decisive one of this first series of Farr40 European Circuit.
Winning the first race today Joe Fly of Giovanni Maspero is clearly a boat to watch closely. Despite Mascalzone Latino's  victory today she still remains in fourth position. As six points divide Nerone (16) from Mascalzone (22) and therefore the winner of this series is going to be one of these four on top. The next four teams following on are: Calvi Game On, La Marachella (41), Cannonball (39) and Enfant Terribile
Despite a first sailing day with shining sun and a breeze getting into 20/25 knots range, yesterday the wind was light but chilly with a breeze getting only into 8/10 knots range.Today is the great final, we are all anxious to know  the winner of this first series of Farr40 European Circuit.
