This event has been designated part of the European Circuit North.

The dead line for entries is the 1st of May, so please apply as soon as possible.

DOCKAGE:

The entry fee includes parking fees for two cars and mooring fees from 8.00 hrs on 23rd May 2008 to 08.00 hrs on 26th May, 

2008 at Larvik YachtClub Marina provided that the completed entry form and entry fee are received by Larvik Yacht Club before 1st May, 

2008.

HOUSING:
For accommodation please contact:

Hotel Wassilioff (ph: +47 33113600, www.wassilioff.no ) in Stavern is our Official Event Hotel and participants are encouraged 

to make reservationshere, with reference to Larvik Seilforening.

Alternative Hotels are Quality Grand Hotell Farris (ph: +47 33187800,www.grand-hotel-farris.no ) and Hotell Greven (ph: +47 33182526,
www.hotell-greven.no ).

SAIL BUTTONS may be purchased in advance (US $60 each) through Stagg Yachts.  If you need sail buttons and place your order 

at least two weeks before the event.

The following forms need to be completed in order to participate:

Your 2008 CLASS DUES and One Design Certificate fees must be paid prior to
racing. The Class Association form (can be found athttp://www.farr40.org/images/pdf/classduesapplication.pdf).

Your 2008 European Fleet DUES must be paid prior to racing.

The European Fleet Association form is attached HERE.

Overseas owners are kindly requested to ask for a guest membership of the Farr 40 European Fleet using the same form and send it to
(pirina@farr40.net).

CREW DECLARATION.  The App 5 crew declaration is attached HERE. Please complete the form and send it to Bunny via email 

or fax it to410-268-1137 no later than 15th May, so that your crew classification can be verified against the ISAF database.

CREW CLASSIFICATION.  If you have Group 1 crew members who need to apply, the ISAF application can be found 

at:http://www.sailing..org/isafsailor/default.asp

They will need to register with ISAF Sailor to receive a user name and password and then must check "yes" for ISAF 

Classification to complete the application using their new password.  90% of all classification requests
are completed within seven days, some are issued immediately!

SUBSTITUTE / RELIEF HELMSMEN.  All substitute or relief helmsmen must be ISAF Group 1, approved by the helmsman 

eligibility committee and currentmembers of the Farr 40 Class Association. The helmsman application can be found

SAIL DECLARATION.  Your sail button list must be turned before or during registration.  The new 2008 declaration form is 

attached HERE and you'll notice a couple of changes from last year.  In 2008, you may carry 3 masthead spinnakers and 

will not be required to carry a Storm Trysail, but mustcarryyour #4 jib and a fractional Spinnaker on board at all times.

YACHT OWNER COMPLIANCE FORM.  The Yacht Owner Compliance form must be completed and signed by all owners, the tactician 

and your boat captain ifyou have one.  The form is attached and can also be found online at http://www.farr40.org/pdf/app10.pdf and 

must be turned in by the end of registration.
