First day of regattas. Mascalzone Latino is on the lead.

Exciting start for the Rolex Farr 40 European Championship on the Baltic Sea in Travemuende, Germany: Three boats are leading tied on points after the first day of the fifth annual Rolex Baltic Week. In a moderate breeze with a lot of gusts and wind shifts on Thursday (28th August) “Mascalzone Latino” helmed by the three times Rolex Farr 40 World Champion Vincenzo Onorato scored two bullets in three races. The Italian leads the Finnish “Siragusawa” of Olli-Pekka Lumijaervi, who is considered to be a secret top ranger, and Giovanni Masperos’ “Joe Fly”, the second Italian favourite.
