As the breeze filled in at around 1.30 pm with a moderate westerly breeze ranging into 6 knots the 12 Farr40 teams were able to finish the first race on schedule after being postponed earlier due to the lake of wind. First to cross the finish line Mascalzone Latino, followed by the german boat Struntje Light and Enfant Terrible the third. A real tough fight between Onorato and Paul Cian, Enfant Terrible's tactician.
