Tuesday 14th July at 11.00 a.m. at Industrial Association Provinces of Southern Sardinia, there will be an official presentation of the event “Regione Sardegna Campionato Europeo FARR40”.
From 27 July to 1 August, boats of Farr 40’s fleet will compete for the first time in Cagliari and here the European champion will be crowned.
”Regione Sardegna Campionato Europeo FARR 40“ is also born thanks to the will of Vincenzo Onorato, owner and Farr 40 world champion with Mascalzone Latino. With his determination and perseverance he has given this opportunity to the city, bringing it on the international scene of sail world.
At the presentation will attend Alberto Scanu, President of the Industrial Association Provinces of Southern Sardinia, Luciano Randaccio, President of Confindustria’s Great Events Committee, Sebastiano Sannittu, Regional Chairman of the Tourism, Vincent Onorato, owner and current champion FARR40, Franco Vigna, President of Canottieri Ichnusa Circle, Bunny Wayt, representative of the Class Farr40.
The initiative is inserted in a more extensive project of economic development, that considers nautical sport and all the events correlated important occasions of animation, able to create positive conditions to attract new investments through the meeting of Sardinian businessmen and institutions with international economic world.
