The European Circuit’ debuts today from St Tropez, Denmark’s nobleprince shows up at the second race


Everything and everybody is ready to start in St Tropez's bay the first series of races of Farr40 European Circuit.
The 11 teams competing today are enjoying  a wonderful day  waiting for the  three short races that are shedueled:  first one 11.30 am, second race at 13.15pm and the one closing the day at 15.00 pm.
The forecast is confident for the 11 teams in race today: sunny day, clear sky,18 degrees and a south-westerly breeze of 5 - 20 knots. We were able to see the boats offshore at 10.30 this morning in the waters of  Saint Maxim Bay who is going to be the host of Farr 40 opening season.
The Prince Federik H.R. of Denmark showing up by helicopter is going to partecipate with Nanoq at the second race.
We have two new entries this year: La Marachella of Sandro Pantaleo, tactician Giovanni Arrivabene and Enfant Terribile of Gianluigi Serena, tactician Paolo Cian.
This last one is the only boat with 9 crew members from 10 allowed on board during the race, the main reason being naturally the weight.
